This class is intended for senior decision makers and executives whose organizations are using the Cloud to drive digital transformation.This class starts by presenting the critical role of the Cloud in enabling digital transformation through enhanced agility, improved quality of service, access to a global customer pool, and by enabling new scenarios such as big data analytics, machine learning, and cognitive services.We then discuss how to build a Cloud strategy for your organization followed by a more detailed discussion of how to migrate existing workloads to the Cloud from a process and management perspective. This is then followed by discussion on the advantages of Cloud-native application architectures in contrast to a purely Cloud-infrastructure approach.We then consider some of the organizational challenges of Cloud adoption including common staff concerns, how to address them, and how to design a digital skills strategy so your staff possesses the skills they need to support your digital transformation journey.We finish by discussing how to create a Cloud ‘Center of Excellence’ (CoE) within your organization as well as how to promote collaboration by building an in-house technical community. This includes the role of the CoE and how to ensure the CoE is set up for success.
