This course introduces key concepts for cloud computing and how Microsoft Azure aligns with those scenarios. Students are introduced to several key Azure services and solutions that align with the following technical disciplines including Infrastructure as a Service, Hybrid Cloud, Application Development, and Big Data and Analytics.

Throughout this course, we will be covering various topics to include but not limited to the Overview of the Cloud and Azure to Big Data and Analytics. In this module, we will introduce Cloud Computing at a high-level. We will then proceed to instruct the Microsoft’s Azure Cloud Computing platform.
In this module, we will be covering Infrastructure as a Service. As part of our Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) presentation, we will talk about what IaaS is followed by Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking, and Deployment.
In this module, we will be covering Hybrid Cloud. This is where we will Introduce the Hybrid Cloud concept followed by Azure Active Directory, Log Analytics and finally Backup & Site Recovery.
In this module, you will be introduced to concepts around Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and how it can be used to provide secure single sign-on (SSO) across your Microsoft Azure deployments as well as 3rd party SaaS solutions using your on-premises identity.
In this module you will learn the basics of Azure Platform as a Service offerings including Azure Web Apps, SQL Database and general PaaS concepts.
