In this lab, you will get a chance to log into the SharePoint admin center and get familiar with the various settings found there. You will learn how to manage some of the overall settings for SharePoint Online such as enabling self-service site creation and turning on Yammer within your organization. You will also learn how to create, delete, and restore a site collection, as well as manage the properties related to a site collection.
In this exercise, you will learn how to manage the use of add-ins in your organization by exploring the “apps” management area in the SharePoint admin center. You will learn how to deploy a custom add-in using the app catalog and get to experience how add-ins are updated by users in a site. You will also learn how to view the usage for an add-in.
In this exercise, you will get hands-on experience working with a few of the areas of SharePoint functionality that a site collection administrator or a site owner might deal with. You will learn how to activate and deactivate features, create and apply a site policy, create and manage a user alert, and publish a content type across site collections.
In this exercise, you will get familiar with the SharePoint Online Management Shell and learn to use it to manage the content and security within your SharePoint Online environment.
